Our company has its own department of R&D where innovative solutions are developed to tackle emerging problems of the industry. Currently, we are developing a new biotechnological solution, BET - Bactera Eco-Technology, for a more efficient treatment of industrial effluents, with low cost of implementation and operation and based on microbial fuel cell technology. The BET system uses microorganisms to treat industrial wastewater while generates electrical energy which can be used directly, without any conversion or gas storage.

Partnerships with Universities or other Public Laboratories or Research Institutes

We have active collaborations with research groups that are part of the National Scientific and Technological System, including universities. Besides, we may also act as a link or intermediary in the access to university based research groups, helping its customers to get access to the fundamental science that is best suited to the development and optimization of their processes, ensuring the efficient management of collaboration projects.

We are open, through our R&D department, to collaborate with Universities or other Public Laboratories or Research Institutes, in order to receive Masters and PhD students. We are also available to establish consortiums with institutions that are part of the Scientific and Technological System in order to apply for founding programs such as P2020 or H2020.
